It’s been a while between posts, but we have received some exciting news from Foma Bohemia. Foma has just produced a direct positive paper (RC). It requires no special processing and is designed for pinhole and other large format cameras. Clink the link to view the spec. sheet

Initially the paper will be available in 5/7″ in 25 & 100 sheet packs, 10/8″ in 25 sheets and 12/16″ in 10 sheets. Costs will be similar to their other RC papers. So we know it will be affordable! 4/5″ paper will become available soon they have promised.

I plan to place a new order in the next few days and hope to secure some sample packs for us folks down under.

Some other stuff… Foma Pastel MG papers are now available online. Available in 10/8″ x 10 sheet packs. Check here for information on stock levels and cost or head to the website and search under speciality papers. Some samples below.

And there’s more…

I recently completed exhibition prints for legendary photojournalist Lorrie Graham, commissioned by the State Library NSW. It was wonderful to see the prints hanging along side vintage silver gels produced by various darkroom printers over the decades. As the library holds Lorries archive, all the prints were made via the Devere digital enlarger. I had the pleasure of working with Lorrie once again in the Laguna darkroom. It was a privilege to hear the stories behind the images, from Moscow to Afghanistan. Lastly, my latest exhibition at Gold Street Studios has come to a close. It was an honour to hang at Ellie and Alan’s gallery and I was extremely nervous presenting my works. All went well though and a huge thank you to everyone who to took time to visit the show.
